JOB TITLE: CASHIER
DUTY STATION: KAWE/MBEZI LUIS/KIBAHA

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage transaction with customers using cash register
• Scan goods and ensure transaction is accurate
• Collect payments in cash direct from client
• Issue receipts, refunds, change
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
• Handle merchandise returns and exchange
• Cooperates with other employees to ensure customers have an efficient and enjoyable shopping experience
• To detail customer-focused and knowledgeable about the products available in the supermarket
• Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Basic PC knowledge
• Familiarity with electronic equipment’s like cash register and POS
• Strong communication and time Management skills
• Degree or Diploma in accounting, finance
• Customer satisfaction-oriented
