Ecobank Limited Vacancies is a subsidiary of Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI), a multinational bank operating in 34 African countries. Ecobank Tanzania officially launched its operations on January 19, 2010, allowing it to begin offering full commercial banking services to the public.
Currently, the bank operates five branches strategically located to enhance accessibility and support cross-border trade. In Dar es Salaam, the branches include Acacia, Mwenge, and PSPF, while the upcountry branches are in Arusha and Mwanza. The bank also operates seven ATMs, which accept VISA, MasterCard, China UnionPay, and Pan African Cards (PAC).
In 2012, Ecobank Tanzania demonstrated significant growth across key financial areas. Revenues surged by 125% to reach Tsh 8.6 billion, while loans and advances rose by 112% to Tsh 77.4 billion. Customer deposits increased by 49% to Tsh 72.6 billion, primarily due to enhanced mobilization through cash-in-transit services. This growth helped drive a 74% increase in total assets, reaching Tsh 114.4 billion in 2012—a major performance milestone for the bank.
