Position: Radiographer Technologist Radiology (35 Positions)

Duties and Responsibilities
- To assess patients referred to their work area.
- To maintain radiology equipment and devices in their work area.
- To inspect X-ray images for quality and diagnostic adequacy.
- To keep patient images until results are forwarded to the referring doctors.
- To supervise the staff under their charge.
- To provide advice on issues related to radiology and radiation work in their area of operation.
- To prepare medical/examination equipment and supervise the sterilization of equipment in their work area.
- To provide initial training to staff assigned to work in their area.
- To perform other tasks assigned by their supervisor that are related to their education, experience, and skills.
Education and Experience
To be employed, candidates must have a Diploma in Radiology Technology from a government-recognized institution and must be registered with the Radiation Professionals Council of Tanzania.
